A new photo album has been set up for Hippie: Hippie is grown up.

December 4, 2018:

It is 2 years ago today that Marvin (Caipirinha's LEE MARVIN) went over the Rainbow Bridge. A candle has been lit for him.

November 11, 2018:

Ula (Multi-Champ. Family Song's ULA) is 13 years and 9 months today. To show how fit a dog can be at this age, there are new photos of her and a video doing her morning gymnastics. She, too, is that kind of dog you have - if ever - just once in a life time. I can't express how much I love this girl and how happy I am that I am in her ownership. I'm also grateful for the great kids she brought for this kennel: the L litter and the N litter.

May she have some more long and healthy time here.

Back from Komarom/HU from the three days of international shows where Maverick (Multi-Champ. Caipirinha's NEED 4SPEED) was entered all three days and his niece Hippie only on Saturday.

Maverick had already been brought to our friends Laszlo and Sándor to Hungary on 10/13 to have some training. Hippie and I drive directly to the show ground on 10/19 in the afternoon. The time without shows Hippie and I spent at our very special friend Judit, to whom I say a big thank you for her great hospitality and the company.

On Friday Maverick was shown by Lazlo and got CAC in champion class. It was the last CAC to be awarded the title Show Champion Hungary.

On Saturday Maverick was again shown by Laszlo in champion class and got CAC and Res. CACIB. With this last missing CAC Maverick was awarded the title Grand Champion Hungary.

Hippie was shown by myself and went Junior Winner. It was the last title which was missing to gain the Hungarian Junior Championship.

On Sunday Maverick was in the ring with Sándor and got again CAC and Res. CACIB.

I am endlessly proud of Maverick that after three years of absolutely no shows he gained two Championships in just one weekend, and of course also of Hippie was awarded her first title.

Thank you to all judges for the great results. Lots of thanks to Laszlo and Sándor for the great handling and for the affection, love and care which they granted to Maverick for a week. I am looking forward to the next "adventure" with "my" three boys!

Thanks also to Martina for her help with grooming Hippie as well as Peter and Térezia for the photos which they took and sent me so that I could give some brand new pictures to the Photo Galleries of Hippie (album Hippie's Shows) and Maverick (album Maverick's Shows). A video (to be found down below the photos in his gallery) of Maverick made by Térezia is also available.

Today would be Steel's (Champ. Silver Bluff STEEL KING LEGACY, SOM) 14th birthday. The pain about his loss is incredibly big. This affectionate, dear, loving small boy is missed very much in the pack. ......

October 3, 2018:

Keanu's (Multi-Champ. Whisperingln' THE DEVILS ADVOCATE) 12th birthday would be today. Losing this heart dog is a daily pain. His children here in the house are a little comfort, but non of them can replace him and lessen the grief. ......

For the first time I have driven myself to the cremation of one of my darlings and did not let my vet do it. After a phone call in the cremation center yesterday, I was told that today an appointment was available. At any time I can recommend that cremation center in Brno/CZ: very kind employees, very empathetic and informative. By name I was of course already known there after 9 cremations.

I had already prepared the necessary papers, and I only needed to decide how it should be: Voodoo was beded in satin and a glass urn was chosen as well as an ashes pendant for the rearview mirror in the car, candles were lit and music played. Two hours later I could drive back home with my darling and place  his urn with the oths on the memroial board.

September 23, 2018:

It seems not to end with the dogs that say good-bye forever: Today Voodoo (Champ. Family Song's VOODOO) passed away peacefully while sleeping. He was the first Chinese Crested here in the house, he was an easy-going, vivacious, affectionate and funny dog, who lives a hole which no other dog will be able to fill. It's bizzare that this very first Chinese Crested passed away in the same way as the very first Briard. I am deeply grateful that he took the decision off to go to the vet with him, even though this way his passing is no way easier. The fifth dog since end of January which went over the Rainbow Bridge ....... It is really unbearable.

Rest in peace little man, you will never be forgotten.

September 18, 2018:

Today Emily Rose (Explicit's SHUT UP I'M STILL TALKING) celebrates her 5th birthday. A heartfelt congratulation to the burdock of this house.

August 14, 2018:

Today in the evening Memy (Multi-Champ. INCREDIBLE ME von Shinbashi), Hippie (HIGH PROVOCATION von Shinbashi) and I came back from a long trip. On August 8, we drove tto Amsterdam to participate at three shows at the occasion of the World Dog Show. Memy was entered, Hippie joined us to make some experience for indoor shows. Actually it was planned that we are mor persons in Amsterdam but the others did not come and we were left alone in the hotel.

Unfortunately it did not work to show on August 9, so the Benelux Winner Show was a zero result. On August 10, a Specialty took place and Memy came out of the ring with excellent. August 11, was a show free day and we just dangled our souls. The highlight was on August 12 the Wolrd Dog Show. 20 females were in Memy's class, really hard concurrence, and also on this day Memy came out of the ring with excellent. We are very pleased with the results, Memy did really great after having not been shown for 4.5 years.

My heartfelt thank you goes to our handler and friend Laszlo who in the forefront had trained with Memy in June and July, and he got to know and love her.

On August 13, we drove to Berlin to visit our friend Janina and her great boy Jazz, and to spend one night there before we drove home. Janina was so great to groom Hippie so that we could take some nice photos. These photos are now in Hippie's Photo Gallery Hippie's Youth. Some pics have also been taken from Memy and can be found in her Album Memy is grown up.

Thank you for the wonderful hours and your hospitality dear Janina. To have you as a friend is a very big enrichtment. Hopefully we can manage that we spend a couple of days together next year.

July 31, 2018:

On July 19, Steel (Champ. Silver Bluff STEEL KING LEGACY SOM) has been cremated and today I got his urn home. It is now standing besides all the others in my memory corner.

Steel in Memoriam

He is so much missed ......

July 9, 2018:

The next black day here: Today before midday sweet little Steel (Champ. Silver Bluff STEEL KING LEGACY SOM) left forever at the age of 13 years and nearly 9 months, and he leaves big emptiness here. This little fuss-free and so grateful boy is dearly missed. The only thing I can now offer him is a place in my heart. I can't pick up myself this year because one  loss after the other hits me: 4 dogs within half a year ......

Thank you for the nearly 9 years during which I could join you dear Steel. Thank you for your unconditional love which you gave me each an every day. You will be unforgotten forever.
